Screenings
Screenings are offered free of charge to identify potential speech and/or language deficits.
Screening procedures include observations, informal data collection, time to screen and review results with the client's parent/guardian to determine if further evaluation is recommended.
Evaluations
Evaluations include assessment administration, scoring, and interpretation, and a complete written report.
If your child has been recently evaluated (within the past year), the cost of the evaluation may be waived if the evaluation report is provided.
Individual Therapy
50 minute sessions
25 minute sessions
*Some sessions may need to be shorter and more frequent based on the specific needs of your child. In these cases, costs are prorated based on the 50 minute rate.
Therapy sessions are available in person or via tele-practice
Payment:
Payment options for Blooming Communicators is currently private pay only. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, credit, debit, flexible spending accounts, and health savings accounts.
Insurance:
Blooming Communicators does not accept insurance at this time. However, it may be possible for you to be reimbursed by your insurance company for payments made for speech services.
Please email me at cburnett@bloomingcommunicators.com for instructions on how to confirm with your insurance company to determine if you are able to be reimbursed.
Cancellation:
-No fees will be charged if the Parents/Guardians cancel an appointment by giving at least 24 hours advance notice to the Speech Language Pathologist to confirm the cancellation/reschedule via email, phone call, or text message.
-Late cancellation fee: $50 for cancellations by the Parents/Guardians with less than 24 hours notice
-Exception: please cancel immediately if you or any members of your family show signs or symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have come into contact with anyone who has shown signs or symptoms of COVID-19. No fee will be charged for COVID-19 related cancellations.
-In the event of a cancellation by the Speech Language Pathologist, the Parents/Guardians will not be billed for the cancelled appointment.
